We had a Chrome messenger bag back in the day but just couldn't get on with that buckle thing........or maybe it was more of an issue of our biking friends who thought it funny to push it.

That being said we have always liked their backpacks. Chrome as a company has been through quite a lot of changes over the years but on our last visit to SF, Chrome bags were still one of the bags of choice, Nothing wrong in buying local.

The Soyuz is Chrome's backpack designed to take a laptop. It's not a massive monster bag but is perfect for the daily essentials, with lots of pockets for storage. Its comfortable to wear and not too bulky.

The main part of the bag is the fully waterproof section, sealed seams with a roll over top to keep out the elements.

The pocket that takes the laptop is at the front side of the bag. Its a horizontal pocket with a weather resistant zip. Its sounds obvious but you do need to ensure the zip is closed when you ride off, or your laptop could come out to the side. Also if it is lashing it down we suggest you put your laptop in the waterproof part of the bag. The laptop pocket itself is in two sections and will take a laptop up to 11" x 15" in size and a file or papers.

On the front of the bag is a flap and under this are two cargo pockets. Behind these there is one full length pocket, divided into some smaller slip pockets. At the bottom of the bag is an outer zip pocket and to the right of this is a clever secret pocket for valuables.
Constructed form tough 1,000 denier Cordura.
