This is the new improved 2.0 Commuter bag that holds up to a 15" laptop.
What's new, you ask?
1. Mesh water bottle pockets to the side panels -- good for water bottles and all kinds of stuff.
2. Inside each water bottle pocket, you'll also find a small slash pocket for quick access to your passport, pens, phone, etc.
3. Larger front pockets, for more stuff.

As we have said elsewhere Rickshaw approach the whole bag thing in a different way, They are not looking to make the best hard core messenger bag. Other makers have that covered. Dare we say it Rickshaw bags are for more fair weather cyclists or when you when you want the option to sometimes carry a bag on the bike. Nothing wrong with that. With Rickshaw's approach also comes innovation.
We have had requests for a smarter bag for the office. We think these Commuter Messenger bags could be it. They are available in three sizes. They are lightweight with lots of features and a semi- flexible frame which means the bags stand up on their own, with contents or not. A tour-de-force of commuter bag design with a long list of standard features or bangs for your buck.

These bags are constructed from cordura with the flap area made from X-pac fabric, a special high performance sailcloth that was developed for ocean racing, manufactured in Connecticut. This X-pac fabric is lightweight, tough and waterproof. (Rickshaw bags are not described as waterproof bags because for that all seams need to be sealed). A waterproof fabric on the outside of your bag is going to keep your gear dry in all but the heaviest downpour. br/>
There are several options that can be added to these Rickshaw bags. At both ends of each Commuter bag are straps to which you can attach a very neat Accessories Side Pouch . There are further internal accessories pockets that can be added. To stop the bag sliding around when you are on the bike there is an under arm-stabiliser cross strap . Or if you need exta comfort with the strap there is an optional shoulder pad. That's it, a simple functional work bag.
