In the US these are commonly called knickers.....what should we call them here....a 3/4 short...a clam digger (what exactly does that mean?), we need a new name.

They are of course, longer than a short. Could they be described as a more formal short? They are certainly great for the bike. Made from lightweight water and wind repellant twill, they are perfect in spring and summer, with a chance of rain. Quick to dry, lots of bike-friendly features. Cut to perform seamlessly on a bike and stylishly in the world. We will keep thinking about the name, just add them to your basket.

The Water Wind Resitsant (WWR fabric) is perfect for all year round use. WWR is a sophisticated fabric that is designed to be water and wind resitant, so rain really does run off the fabric and also resists dirt and stains.(They are not sold as waterproof shorts). The fabric is breathable, quick drying and has a 4 way stretch for ease of movement.

On the front you have frog mouth top entry pockets. (you know how difficult it is to get stuff out of side entry pockets). At the side of each front pocket is a neat stitched section that takes a pen or tyre lever.

• The waist is higher at the back, to keep you well covered
• The seat area is double thickness, two layers of the fabric.
