A celebration of the master cyclist that was the Campionissimo, the Champion of Champions He was taken from us too soon at the age of 40, suffering to malaria. He won the Giro d Italia five times, his first at the age of 20. His last major victory was at the age of 35. He was the first true international champion to travel and race in many countries. He won the Tour de France twice but always remember to qualify his records, he lost five years of racing to the Second World War. Who knows how great his achievements could have been. He became synonymous with the awesome Bianchi team and the fantastic celeste blue racing bikes from the legendary Bianchi factory that were crafted for Coppi. Also remember Campagnolo's revolutionary crankset that gave Fausto 10 speeds. This type of bike set the bar and template for road racing bikes for several decades. Plus Fausto always look fantastic.
