The Sale and Purchase of items from this web site are in accordance with the conditions set out below.
When placing an order on the site you agree to accept these Terms & Conditions.
We reserve the right to revise these Terms & Conditions at any time so please keep up to date with this section.


Making a Purchase
We appreciate the trust you have when you decide to make the online purchase. Any questions then email us first. We will do our best to help. If you have any questions about the goods on the site, please check the Information Section first as many common questions are answered there.
We are a web based business only, we do not have a bricks and mortar store or the facilities for customers to collect orders in person.If you have further questions please email us. When you are ready to purchase it could not be easier. Browse the store, add your purchase to the shopping basket and your shipping rate will be calculated when you check out. You still have the option at this stage not to proceed further
Sometimes it can take us a while to reply. We may be out riding! We take week-ends off when we can. If you need to check an item is in stock please email us first. Please appreciate our stock levels change by the hour depending on orders received. We try to keep items in stock but as with any store we sometimes sell out.
The companies we work with are quite small and generally make to order only. They do not as a rule have hundreds of an item on a shelf. That’s why we work with them, that’s why you want to buy from us, its all part of the plan. We will advise you if we are out of stock, giving you the option to cancel or leave your item on back order with us.


Shipping
In the UK we generally use the Royal Mail First Class Signed For Service for orders up to the value of £ 41. We aim to deliver goods to you within 7 working days but please allow up to 14 days. In legal terms you are covered by the Distance Selling Regulations that allows us up to 30 days to deliver your order. If an item you have ordered is not available we will do our very best to let you know within three working days. You need to be there to receive the parcel and sign for it when it arrives, otherwise you get a card through the door. We can only ship to a confirmed PayPal address or the billing address of the credit card holder. If it is going to another address please let us know in advance.

Orders in the UK above £ 41 in value are generally sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery. Larger items such as bags are generally sent via a courier service such as DHL.

For shipments overseas we use Air Mail Signed For Service for smaller items and for larger items like bags we ship via a courier such as DHL. For courier shipments we also need your contact telephone number.

Shipping Costs
As the items we sell are different weights and sizes we need to charge different shipping costs per item. This will be displayed during the checkout process. We do not set out to make excessive profit from shipping. We try to charge a fair price to allow for administration, packaging (always new) and the bike ride to the Post Office. The prices for Eire are not the same as mainland Britain.

Delivery to Addresses outside the European Union (E.U.)
On orders delivered to addresses outside the EU we are able to refund the UK V.A.T/Sales Tax on your order for all items except books and magazines. If this applies to you, make the purchase in the normal way, the price you pay includes VAT , but we will then initiate a VAT refund to your card/account the same working day. (Divide the invoice value by 1.175 to calculate the nett amount you will be charged after your V.A.T. refund). Please note you may still have to pay the local import charges/duty/vat when goods enter the country outside the E.U.

Duty & Import Charges for orders outside the UK
Any import, duty charges, taxes etc are the responsibility of the buyer. We are not able to label parcels as 'samples' to avoid this. We can only state the correct value of the goods on shipping paperwork and customs forms. Sorry but we all have to pay the man. .


Payment
Payment can be made via PayPal. This is a quick and easy payment method. You can either use a PayPal Account or can make a one off payment via PayPal using your credit or debit card. For further information check out www.PayPal.co.uk.Payment will appear on your statement as Urban Hunter Ltd. When you place the order with us, this is when we receive the payment, unless it is in the form of an e-cheque which takes longer. We cannot ship goods until we receive cleared funds.


Title & Risk
We retain title of the goods until we receive full and complete payment. The risk in the product will pass to you once you or your agent sign for the delivery.


Security
Secure payment and credit card security is administered by PayPal.


Legal Stuff
When we receive your order we indicate acceptance of your order when we issue an invoice and start the delivery process. Prior to the issue of the invoice we will contact you on the rare occasion we have made errors or omissions in pricing or the description, or if we do not have stock to complete the order. If we have made a mistake we will do our very best to advise you first.

Sometimes when we restock an item there may be a slight design or colour variation. If there is a big difference we will try to re photograph the item. If the difference is small we don’t. Please appreciate the colours of items may look slightly different because you are viewing from a colour monitor.


Price
Prices quoted are in GB pounds sterling, including VAT (17.5%). Prices shown are excluding delivery charges, this is calculated in the shopping cart.


Returns Policy & Cancellation of Order
We want you to be happy and satisfied with your purchase. If you are not happy with an item when it is received because you just don't like it or you want a different size etc you may send it back to us within 7 working days from the date your package arrives with you. Simple as that. You are covered in the UK by the United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations, so long as the items are returned in their original condition, with all tickets and tags attached. We don't charge a re-stocking fee but ask that you pay the return postage via a recorded method so we have to sign for it upon receipt. Goods are your responsibility until they arrive back with us so we recommend you send the parcel insured to the full value of the goods and ensure the items are strongly packaged to protect the contents. If the goods are damaged in transit due to being inadequately packaged, we will be unable to give a refund. We can only accept returned items if they are unworn, not used, returned with original packaging , tags still attached and in saleable condition. Please store your item in its original packaging while you make a decision about the item.We do not accept the return of items used on photo-shoots even if tags etc are still attached. Our permission is required to photograph the products we sell or to use them to promote other brands or services.

If you want an exchange for a different size or a different item then please tell us. If you are in the UK we will ship you the exchanged item at our cost, once we receive back the original item. We do this on the first exchange only, after that we charge you. We only offer free postage on the first exchange to UK customers.

If you want a refund send the item back as above, informing us you would like a refund. After receiving the package we will issue a refund via PayPal within 7 working days (excluding original shipping cost).The refund goes via your payment method and may not show on your account until your next statement.

With all returned goods please write on the invoice enclosed with your delivery "Order Returned " along with the date. Please detail if you want a refund or an exchange. Please contact us first in writing or by email quoting your invoice number and advising us of the nature of your return.

Returns Policy EEC & rest of the World If you are outside of the UK and wish to exchange or return an item you need to pay the shipping costs on the return to the UK and the new shipping cost on any exchanged item to be sent from the UK. Please mark the parcel very clearly as 'Returned Items', otherwise we will be charged import duty/taxes if this is not written clearly on the package. Please follow the guidellines above concerning packaging, insurance and a signed for service.


Damaged or Faulty Items
On the rare occasion that items are damaged or faulty upon receipt, of course we will refund or replace them if you follow the same steps and conditions above. Please contact us first advising us of the problem before you send an item back. We will do our very best to resolve the situation for you.

If you have problems with an item later on outside of the 7 day period, again we will do our very best to solve the problem for you, depending on the nature of the problem and how long you have owned the product. Please contact us first to detail the problem. On occasion we may choose to repair an item. Used items returned for repair must be laundered/dry cleaned before they are dent to us.If a repair needs to be sent back to a manufacturer abroad this can take several weeks,sometimes a month or more, but we will do our best to keep you informed.Of course with all of this sort of stuff you are covered by the Sale of Goods Act.

We can all quote legal stuff, but at the end of the day we want you to be our friends and continued customers. We will do our best to make this happen.


Privacy Policy
Urban Hunter Ltd does not disclose buyers information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party. Cookies are used on this site as part of the shopping process and to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart. We do not store your financial information. We will not trade or sell any customer details.

We do not accept liability for any indirect loss, consequential loss, loss of data, loss of income or profit, loss of damage to property and/or loss from claims of third parties arising out of the use of the web site or for any products or services purchased from Urban Hunter Ltd.

We have taken every measure to prevent Internet fraud and ensure any data collected from you is stored as secure as possible. However, we cannot be held liable in the extremely unlikely event of a breach in our secure computer servers.We do everything possible to prevent this, but we make no warranty that the site or the server are free of viruses or bugs at any given time.
